Clinical dermatology reference
Dermatology, structured for fast reference.
An open-source dermatology reference and education toolkit designed for physicians, medical trainees and healthcare professionals.
Public preview · Goal 9 public layer: 5 clinician reviewed / others review required · Not validated clinical decision support. Recommendations are educational drafts unless a matching physician decision exists.
Clinical transparency
Evidence status
Live coverage counts are calculated from the published records, follow-up protocols and governed media registry.
What these states mean
- Source metadata checked
- The source identity and link metadata were rechecked; this does not verify every clinical statement.
- Schema validated
- Automated checks found the expected data shape, controlled values and source relationships. Automated tests are not clinical review.
- Clinician review required
- The content remains educational draft material and has no current physician attestation.
- Clinician reviewed
- A physician attestation is bound by a content fingerprint to one exact content version. Later clinical changes invalidate that attestation.
Docutis does not replace professional clinical judgment, diagnosis, treatment decisions or current guidelines.

Visual learning pilot
Clinical Pattern Quiz
Eight educational questions use only the structured pilot records and original Docutis schematics.
Educational pattern recognition only. This quiz is not clinical decision support and does not replace professional judgment. Most quiz items remain clinician review required; the BCC dermoscopy item is clinician reviewed in the public Goal 9 layer.
Question wording or a cited source look wrong? Report it without naming repository files.
Case-based learning
Clinical cases
Educational steps only: inspect, observe, differential, reveal, then review. Learn Melanoma is an optional sequence, not a certificate and not a device. Cases are not clinical decision support. Image interpretation here is not physician attestation. No case is clinician reviewed. The reviewer workspace lists recorded diagnoses for review and is not a learner step.
Case-based screening practice
Mixed-case screening training
Unknown lesions from the case library, one at a time: look, commit to a working impression, open dermoscopy where it is stored, then reveal the source diagnosis and its verification. Training only. It is not a diagnostic device, an exam, or a certificate, and it gives no score. Sessions are curated for teaching coverage and do not reflect how often lesions occur.
Germany · guideline-based

About Docutis
Who this preview is for, and what it is not.
What it is
Docutis is an open-source, structured dermatology reference and education toolkit for physicians, medical trainees and other healthcare professionals. It organizes concise educational records, follow-up references, visual learning aids and a small quiz behind a transparent clinical-review status model. It is an educational and professional reference in active development (a public preview, not a finished release) and is not a substitute for individual care. Some assets are clinician reviewed; most content is still review required.
Current status
Public preview. The Goal 9 public layer currently includes five clinician-reviewed assets (AK and BCC disease records plus BCC follow-up, quiz and schematic). Other Goal 9 units and all pilot cases remain review required. Goal 12 only changes how those cases are stepped through; it does not mark any case clinician reviewed. Automated schema, source-metadata and fingerprint checks are not physician attestation.
Not validated clinical decision support. Content is educational draft material and is not clinician-approved recommendations for diagnosis, treatment or follow-up.
Limitations
- Coverage is incomplete; many dermatology domains remain future work.
- Product-specific dosing and jurisdiction-specific information are included only when supported by traceable current guidelines or regulatory product information and still require professional verification before clinical use.
- Human clinical review is published only for assets with a current matching decision; other Goal 9 assets remain review required.
- Always verify claims against current guidelines and professional judgment.
